Lindsay May

I have always been passionate about sports, living an active life and being surrounded by nature!  As a teenager, I dabbled in working out, but I generally took my health and seemingly natural athletic abilities for granted. It wasn't until university and the freshman 20, that I realized I had to work a little harder and get a little smarter to stay fit and healthy! At UBC I was a little fish in a big pond, so my team sports days were over. I joined the university gym, started taking group fitness classes and muddled my way through workouts between term papers and exams. I realized pretty quickly that exercise helped relieve some stress and made me really happy, regardless of that freshman 20.

I opened my first personal training studio in 2005, the same year I married my sporty husband, and have been loving every minute of this career since.  I taught group fitness classes and trained throughout both of my pregnancies, and today feel happier and healthier than I did twenty years ago. I have worked with hundreds of clients over the last twelve years, and I am very honoured to be a part of each of their unique journey's towards a happier, healthier life.
