Love, and goodness that exists in all of us; the people that have come into my life over the years, continually remind me that we are all human and that we all feel love and pain the same way.

YIN yoga, I love the stillness and the peacefulness.

Jessica Turner

Born with skis on my feet (well, almost), movement & sport have always been a part of who I am. After having my first child, I decided to take my love of sports & fascination with the human body, and turn it into a career. I love witnessing someone achieve something they haven't done before; it can be as simple as, nailing their squat form or as big as achieving their goals after months of dedication.

My Sunday

Coffee is always a good start, followed by a morning ski/board on the mountains, wrapped up with a mellow evening with family. In the summer, a run in the trails followed by an afternoon on a lake.

My Inspiration

My mom. She is full of life and open to new experiences & ways of being. She has given me the gift of unconditional love & has taught me that there is always more to learn.

My Favorite Class

Spin yoga, it’s the perfect balance. You push hard, sweat it out and then leave feeling grounded.

Sylvie Allen

I try my best to increase the stoke level in Pemberton; whether it’s coaching mountain bike clinics, training in the gym or sweating it out in class. My goal is to make sure each of your reps is perfect, and to teach you the tools you need to excel at your favourite sport. "You can achieve anything with practice, let desire be your guide".

My Sunday

Get up early, eat a big breakfast, pack a big lunch and go on a ski touring, mountain biking or hiking mission with friends; mountains are my happy place.

My Inspiration

My mom has taught me to stay positive, no matter what obstacles are thrown at me. She has taught me to LIVE life every day.

My Favorite Class

Yoga; I need to chill out a little more often.

Michaela Nelson

Throughout my competitive years as a kickboxer, I was lucky enough to have three amazing coaches. I was trained to believe, that failure was not an option; when I stepped into the ring to fight, I knew my hard work and long hours of training would pay off. My coaches were always supportive and proud of me, no matter the outcome of my fight, which has strongly influenced how I train my own clients; tough but kind.

My Sunday

Spending as much time as I can with my husband and my puppy; drinking coffee, eating brunch and walking/hiking.

My Inspiration

My mom; she is the rock that holds our family together. She has taught me to work hard, be the best that I can be and to never give on my dreams.

My Favorite Class

A demanding circuit or interval class that pushes my limits; I like the challenge.

Alaina Hay

I started practicing yoga, at a time in my life, when I needed to feel connected to other people. I decided to become a teacher, because I wanted to pass on that same feeling of inclusion and belonging, that yoga offered me. My goal during each class, is to connect with my students and make them feel like they’ve come home, like they belong, and that they are connected to something greater than themselves.

My Sunday

I love to eat food with my family; this has been a tradition since I was a kid, that I am now passing on to my boys . . . everyone together at the table - no phones, no toys, no distractions, just great food and precious quality time together.

My Inspiration

The ultra marathon runner, Emelie Forsberg. She has the greatest attitude towards training; she once said, "I listen to my body and let it determine what I can do on a certain day. It’s so simple." That's how I want to live my life; listening to my body, my heart and my head.

My Favorite Class

I love a good boxing class, because sometimes you just need to punch stuff.

Frances Moody

I grew up practicing dance and gymnastics, which flowed naturally into a passion for yoga. In the spring of 2015, I completed my 200 hr yoga teacher training with Julia McCabe. My teaching style definitely reflects my dance background; I love inversions and fluid transitions. As a student and a teacher, I am focused on body alignment and proper form.

Spending time at home with my family or hiking and adventuring with friends!

My Inspiration

The Pemberton Valley is filled with so many amazing people who are dedicated to living healthy, beautiful lives. I am thankful and inspired everyday by this amazing community I get to call home.

Lyrical dance class.

I am passionate about yoga and a dedicated mother of one. I know the value of finding time for oneself, and I believe in the importance of self care through mindfulness & movement. My teaching style is an integration of practices, with an emphasis on the physical alignment, plus the emotional and spiritual transformative powers of yoga.

Elena Aranguren

Hola! I am from Spain and I moved to BC 6 years ago. After years of training in Classical Ballet and dancing to ´Música Latina´, I acquired my Diplomas from the Royal Academy of Dance. I am also trained in Jazz and Contemporary Dance. I have recently completed my Zumba certification and I am currently studying the art of Burlesque.

Sleep in, call my mom, watch a good movie and cuddle with my pug.
